RSI Logistics, Inc. (RSI) is a transportation logistics firm that specializes in the transporting of bulk and packaged materials throughout North America.

Challenge:
RSI Logistics came to us to develop an extranet for inventory management, purchasers, and their shipping yard. They also needed assitance in finding the right provider to handle their new application.

SofTex Solution:
First, we helped RSI select a hosting company that would be able to handle the demands of the requested system.

We then went to work developing an automated system that would allow less hands-on involvement by RSI and streamline the flow of vital data between purchasers, shippers, warehouses, and even location tracking for orders.

Benefit:
RSI Logistics has been able to take what was once a full time job and reduce it to basic monitoring that takes about an hour a week.

Customers can now also view all pertinent information in real-time and don't have to spend the time trying to get a hold of someone when the information is just a web browser away.
