Special Compensation System

Challenge:
JNLI needed to develop a sister system to their existing web-based compensation system that would allow them to build off of the existing infrastructure and sort through large volumes (100+ GB) of data quickly and efficiently to make the customer experience a pleasant one.

SofTex Solution:
Using the tools and knowledge of past large projects we set about developing the new system using a structured approach that lends itself to future improvements. While implementing this application we were also able to make improvements to the existing system, which resulted in better performance for both.

Benefit:
Development of the Curian Special Comp system helped save JNL over $100,000 in development cost and continues to save over $45,000 a year in personel costs.

As an additional benefit, cycle times were reduced from 4+ hours per night to under 2 hours per night.
